OVERVIEW

Backloopers: A Backrooms Game ("Backloopers", "we", "our") is a mobile game with a companion website at backloopers.com. This notice describes the privacy practices associated with the website and the upcoming Android and iOS releases. Practices can differ depending on the app version and available features.

THE WEBSITE

The website does not require user accounts. We use Cloudflare for website hosting and security and Google Fonts for fonts. Visitors may have technical connection data processed by these providers. The contact form on our Support page uses FormSubmit, a third-party form delivery service. When you submit a message, the name, email address, topic, and message you supply are handled by FormSubmit and forwarded to our support Gmail inbox so we can respond. Please do not send confidential account credentials or payment details.

We use submitted contact details to respond to requests. If you do not wish to send information through FormSubmit, do not use the form. We do not operate a website newsletter or account registration service at present.

We may update this notice if analytics, newsletter forms, or other services are added in future site releases.

GAME PROGRESS & DEVICE DATA

Backloopers is designed to keep gameplay information such as record distances, collected VHS tapes, upgrades, achievements, and archive discoveries. The pre-release game uses on-device storage for progress. Clearing app data, a full game reset, or uninstalling the game may remove locally stored progress.

Depending on the final mobile build and any SDKs enabled, the app may also process limited device or performance information required to operate, secure, and improve its features. This policy will be checked against the actual production app before launch.

OPTIONAL REWARDED ADS

Some planned versions of Backloopers may include an optional rewarded advertisement, such as a reward that doubles VHS earnings. When advertising is enabled, Google AdMob or its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP addresses, ad interactions, and related information to deliver and measure ads, protect against fraud, and provide advertising features subject to applicable consent and settings.

Google provides further information in its Privacy Policy and partner technologies notice. The presence of a planned ad feature here does not mean ads are active in every app version.

YOUR CHOICES

• You can choose not to watch optional rewarded advertisements.
• You can manage Android advertising settings and permissions through your device, subject to its available controls.
• You can clear locally saved game data using the game's reset option, where available. This cannot be reversed.

CHILDREN

The game is not intentionally designed to collect personal information directly from children. The final app's age rating, audience declarations, consent controls, and advertising configuration will be confirmed before release.

CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

We may revise this policy as the game and website change. The last-updated date will be updated whenever material changes are made.
